The Furniture of Hopes, and Dreams, and Imagination

There’s nothing more fun for expecting parents than to decorate their soon to be born child’s room. The walls are painted in pink or blue, and then little bookshelves filled with picture books and stuffed animals line the walls. A crib is added along with a changing station. The baby will need clean carpet to crawl around on, too. Although the nursery or baby’s room will be catered toward pleasing the baby, the mother will spend a considerable amount of time in the room bonding with the baby. She will need a comfortable rocking chair to rock the baby to sleep, play, or breastfeed. This is all done to welcome the newest addition into the family and make him or her feel at home. Older children will want something a little more grownup, though. They will want a big bed or a bunk bed if they have to share their room with a sibling. To truly make it their own, they’ll want their own things, even if they have to share a room. There would be toy boxes, bookshelves, and dressers decorated with their favorite cartoon character.
